Recommendations and the Evidence Pack
A recommendation is one move: one product, or a group of variants priced together, with one proposed price (or, for a ladder, one price per step).
The card
Section titled “The card”Recommendations appear in chat and in your Daily Briefing as a card titled My recommendation. It shows:
- the decision, for example “Ship $42.” or “Hold at $39 for now.”
- the projected impact in dollars over 30 days, against your current price
- how often the product sells, so you can see how quickly results will show
Cards never ship anything. Choose View evidence to open the drawer.
The drawer
Section titled “The drawer”The drawer explains the decision and is the only place you ship or roll back a move.
- Why: two to four plain reasons for the recommendation.
- What would change this decision: the conditions that would make Z recommend something else.
- Evidence Pack: the detail behind the projection, including:
- Checks: each guardrail and requirement the move must pass, and whether it did
- Tested prices: every price Parbat tested, and how each compared with your current price
- Timeline and Evidence history: what happened to this move and when
Projected impact
Section titled “Projected impact”The headline number is our best estimate of the 30-day change in gross profit. The Evidence Pack shows how confident we are in it.
A projection is never shown as a result. Once a move ships, measured results appear separately. See Measuring results.
Shipping a move
Section titled “Shipping a move”At the bottom of the drawer:
- Ship $X → $Y changes the price of a single variant.
- Ship to all variants (N) changes every variant in a price group together.
- Ship ladder (N variants) changes every step of a price ladder, each to its own price.
- Ship to N eligible variants changes only the variants in a group that can ship now.
When the new price is live in Shopify, a message confirms it, for example “Price updated to $42.00” or, for a group, “3 prices updated”. Shipping and rolling back are open to workspace owners and admins. See Your team.
If a move is held for being larger than the largest single price move your guardrails allow, only an Owner can ship it, with Ship $X anyway, so a big change is always a deliberate choice.
