Your first conversation with Z

When the app opens, Z greets you with a welcome card. Z is the assistant you work with in Parbat: ask it anything about your products, your prices, or a recommendation, in plain language.

Once your store has recent orders, the welcome card offers two ways in:

  • Recommend a price: pick a product and Z recommends a price, with the reasoning and projected impact.
  • Validate a move: pick a product and a price you’re considering, and Parbat tests it on simulated shoppers before anyone sees it. See Validation.

Every store’s welcome card also offers Who is Z? and What is Parbat?

Choose Start quick tour for a short walkthrough of the app. You can restart it any time from your avatar menu under Product tour.

  • “Which products should I look at first?”
  • “Why are you recommending a lower price on the travel mug?”
  • “What would change this decision?”
  • “Raise my margin floor to 30%.”

Z can change your margin floor and MAP settings when you ask. To leave products alone, use the Guardrails card in Pricing Basecamp.

  • Pricing Basecamp, the panel beside the chat, holds your Daily Briefing, Pricing Readiness, Pricing Value and Guardrails cards.
  • The header has Search messages, Pinned messages, and a button that opens the Daily Briefing workspace.
  • Your avatar menu has Product tour, Help and Settings. Owners and Admins also see Members. Help opens this site.

If your store has no orders in the last 30 days, Z points you to Pricing Readiness in Pricing Basecamp. It refreshes daily and shows what Parbat needs before it can recommend prices.
