Section titled “How your data is used”- To recommend, validate and measure price moves for your store.
- Validation runs on private copies of your products in Parbat’s own test stores.
- Anonymized, aggregated outcomes may inform our work; they’re a condition of the free beta.
- A named case study or reference call only ever happens with your written approval.

| Orders | Sales velocity, price history and measuring shipped moves. |
| Inventory and locations | Your inventory position, which shapes which moves make sense. |
| Customers | Which customer placed each order (their Shopify ID, name, tags and tax-exempt status), and your total customer count. |

The Parbat pixel
Section titled “The Parbat pixel”Parbat installs a Shopify web pixel to understand storefront behavior. It sends every standard storefront event Shopify reports, such as page views, product views, searches, add-to-carts and checkout steps. Each event carries:
- the event’s name and time, and the details Shopify attaches to it, such as the products, prices and cart or order totals
- the page, referrer and campaign tags, and the page and browser details Shopify reports, such as the page title and screen size
- the product and variant the shopper saw, and the price and currency shown
- an anonymous browser ID, and the shopper’s Shopify customer ID if they’re logged in
- the shopper’s device type (mobile, tablet or desktop) and browser language
How it’s limited:
- It only runs when the shopper has allowed analytics.
- Fields that hold a name, email address, phone number or street address are removed before anything is sent. The page address and any search text are sent as they are.
- It isn’t used for advertising and your data isn’t sold.
